Book a consultation.

Seven Mile Architects has launched our Studio Table Sessions — a architectural consultation service designed to reduce the barriers to working with an architect. By offering both an accessible, entry-level ‘Table session’ we aim to demystify the architectural process, empower informed decisions, and build trust with our valued clients and within our community.

Complementary Table Session

Duration: 45 minutes

Format: In-Person at our Bangalow Studio

Sit down for a one-on-one chat with us. Our Table Session is a relaxed round-the-table discussion about your project and a chance for us to meet. During our session, we’ll share insights around how to get started, your goals, site, budget, and timeline, helping you clarify the next steps for your project. Bring along your ideas, questions, and anything about your project you’d like to explore.

What we’ll cover:

  1. The process - We’ll guide you through what to expect during a typical architectural and building process from design and approvals through to construction and occupation. You’ll be taken through a project checklist, a step-by-step guide outlining how to progress your project.

  2. Your property and project - We’ll undertake a brief online review of your site and discuss its possible opportunities and constraints. We will have an informal review of your ideas for your property and give you insights around your goals.

  3. The costs - We’ll have an open discussion about the costs of engaging an architect for your project, followed by a brief overview of building costs, referencing current market rates and supported by up-to-date insights from a trusted quantity surveyor.

What you will take away with you:

  • The project checklist.

  • A flow chart – a clear outline of the process – the steps involved from design to occupation.

  • An Information sheet on understanding project costs and budgets.

  • Template for your architectural brief.

What is not included in this session:

  • Site specific analysis.

  • Design work.

What you should bring if you have them:

  • Site address + any relevant site information or reports – feel free to email electronically prior.

  • Any existing 2D plans.

  • All your questions! We’ll keep it simple and clear.
